Does the AI decide my prices?+
No. The AI suggests what work is needed and rough quantities. Every price comes from your own materials list and labour rates, and each line shows where its price came from. If there's no saved price for something, it's flagged rather than guessed.
Can it measure a garden from a photo?+
Not accurately, and it doesn't pretend to. It can sometimes estimate from objects of known size, like standard fence panels, but most sizes need confirming. GroundQuote asks for the measurements it can't judge and marks estimates as provisional until you confirm them.
Do my customers need an account?+
No. They get a link to a page that works on their phone, where they can read the quote, download a PDF, accept it or ask for changes.
What happens after a customer accepts?+
The accepted version is locked and kept exactly as it was. You can book the job and create a deposit or full invoice from it in one tap, without retyping anything.
Is it set up for UK businesses?+
Yes. Pounds, UK dates, metric measurements, optional VAT with breakdowns, and UK trade materials such as MOT Type 1, Indian sandstone and closeboard panels.
Is the AI included on Essential?+
Yes. Every plan includes AI photo quotes: 20 a month on Essential and 75 on Pro. Building and editing quotes yourself is unlimited on every plan.
What happens after the free trial?+
Your 14-day trial includes everything in Pro and needs no card. When it ends, choose a plan to keep creating quotes. If you don't, your account becomes read-only: nothing is deleted.
Can I cancel?+
Yes, any time, from the Billing page. You keep full access until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
What happens to my data if I stop paying?+
It's kept. Your customers, quotes, prices and invoices stay in your account and you can still read and export them. Choose a plan again whenever you like to carry on.
How does the Founding Member price work?+
Our first 50 paying customers get everything in Pro for £19 a month, for as long as they stay subscribed. If you cancel or move to another plan, the place goes back to the pool and the founder price can't be restored.
Do you charge VAT?+
Prices shown are the full price you pay. Card payments are handled securely by Stripe, and receipts are available from the Billing page.
Can I try it without signing up?+
Yes. Open the demo workspace to see a fictional landscaping business with customers, quotes and invoices already in it.
